Willing To Reach Out?

I do not personally know them nor have I met them but that doesn't mean I can't do anything to help. The two of them, Alicia Ngiam and Yvonne Foong are facing the challenge of their lives. Reading about what they are going through moved me to make this appeal for support.

Alicia, aged only 13, was knocked down by a lorry at the infamous Giant junction in Subang Jaya on 3 Sep 2005. She lost her spleen, part of her lungs and suffered 4 fractured ribs and a broken leg. Right now she is in semi-conscious state at Sunway Medical Center SJMC. My community members are rallying for support to help her financially strained single mother meet medical bills and expenses.

Yvonne, aged 19, is afflicted with Neurofibromatosis, type 2, (NF-2) which is a rare inherited disorder characterized by the development of benign tumors on both auditory nerves (acoustic neuromas). The disease is also characterized by the development of malignant central nervous system tumors as well. She's losing her hearing pretty fast and unless she undergoes surgery soon she risks losing it completely. She will need at least RM200K for that.

Would it be too much to ask you to REACH OUT to help make a difference for both Alicia and Yvonne?
