A crying shame

The Signature Campaign Begins!

It's a crying shame that our politicians would not put aside partisan politics and be seen to be standing and fighting together for the rakyat. The brief stand-off (on being photographed together) that caused some tense moments for the organisers can only be described as outrageous, silly and comical.

The MCA team, MP Kelana Jaya Loh Seng Kok and ADUN Subang Jaya Dato' Lee Hwa Beng at one corner.

ADUN Sungei Pinang Teng Chang Kim (DAP), also a resident of USJ 3 at another corner.

The Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) team, Kelana Jaya Chairman Syed Shahir Mohamud (also president of the Malaysian Trade Union Congress) and Vice President, Sivarasa Rasiah at yet another corner.

But signed the petition against the USJ3-Batu 3 Link, they did.

A good show of bipartisan political support, don't you think. Probably a first in Malaysia :P
