We have to SHOOT the messenger!

When the Deputy IGP Datuk Seri Musa Hassan said the police needed to find out who took the video clip, I thought he made sense. That person could become a key material witness to whatever disciplinary action or prosecution that is highly expected from the result of the ongoing investigation.

How naive and stupid I was; because just as many others feared, Musa has come to the open defence of the policewoman who is in the middle of this controversy. He instead said that person who took the video clip is the perpetrator whom "we are after." Yes, that's right, between the lines, he said, "We have to SHOOT the messenger!"

Someone, please remind Musa of the "Saya anti-rasuah" campaign he launched just recently.

Please also remind him that covering-up for a subordinate is a corrupt practice.
