When We Believe

The following was delivered to by mailbox yesterday, courtesy of Goals 2005.

"The only thing that stands between what you want from life is often merely the will to try it and the faith to believe that it is possible. The truism, “faith can move mountains” contains nuggets of wisdom for realizing our goals and dreams. When we truly believe that something is possible, our efforts are permeated with determination, perseverance and hope. Whatever you can vividly imagine and conceptualize as being achieved, before it actually happens; when you sincerely believe, that is when great things happen.

So don’t rule out the impossible! Who defines impossible anyway? What is impossible to one person is not impossible to another. One of my favorite quotes is from Eleanor Roosevelt, “The future belongs to those who believe in their dreams." Do you believe in your dreams? Better yet, do you believe in YOU?

As you reflect on 2005 there are goals that were achieved and those that were not. Believing you have failed is the end of the journey. Believing in yourself is an endless destination.

Great things happen when we believe.

You are what you believe. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!"

Your beliefs become reality. What you believe in, and becomes real in your experience. There are no other answers. There is no area in your life to which this does not apply. You make your own reality: your dreaming reality, your waking reality, and all realities in which you have existence.

The true power is in the imagination which dares to speculate upon that which is not yet. The imagination, backed by great expectations, can bring about almost any reality within the range of probabilities.

The future is a probability. In terms of ordinary experience, nothing exists there yet. It is virgin territory, planted by your feelings and thoughts in the present. Therefore you will plant accomplishments and successes, and you will do this by remembering that nothing can exist in the future that you do not want to be there.
