KL ranks 3rd in common courtesy survey

The bright side puts KL at third. The not so bright side places KL from the bottom. That's the result of Reader’s Digest's common coutesy survey of 35 of the world’s capitals.

Generally, the Malaysians interviewed by NST agree that Malaysians are rude. The expats, however, disagree. Why? Your guess is as good as mine.

The tests also showed that the under-40s were the most courteous and the over-60s the least - particularly older men.

A spokesman for Reader's Digest said: "If common courtesy is the oil that keeps society running, a check suggests there's plenty of oil in the engine."

From Readers Digest: Putting politeness to test.
