The extra degree

Water is hot at 211 degree. At 212 degree, it boils and generates the steam that powers our world. Just one extra degree and the results is so exponentially different!

Isn't this amazing?

Isn't this a beautiful but yet uncomplicated metaphor that ideally should feed our every endeavour, to consistently stretch to make the extra effort in every task, action, and effort we undertake?

That small things can make tremendous differences as the Malay proverb says, "Sedikit-sedikit, lama-lama jadi bukit."

Watch the 212 Movie.

Umm.. maybe you forgot the Latent Heat of Vaporization. You know, b/w the one degree, there's a lot of hidden effort that you have to put in. All that is visible might not be true, and all that is true might not be visible. So maybe the things that we never really see sometimes go a long way in defining our true selves. The extra degree that water needs is a lot of heat when you compare it with the heat you need to go from 210 to 211.
But then again, it's a pessimistic mood that I'm in.
