IPD Subang Jaya Police to Population Ratio

From The Star Metro (5 October): Supt Kamal Rosli Skymmar said the Subang Jaya police district covered an area of 161sq km with about 1.2 million people and it was difficult to monitor the safety of everyone everywhere. “We have only 963 police personnel to do the job,” he said.

Which puts the district's police to population ratio at 1:1,246 against the nation's average of 1:300.

From Screenshot's entry on 3 July 2003 - The 1:275 police to population ratio is, in fact, better than major developed countries such as Germany (1:343), England (1:429), United States (1:410), Australia (1:457), France (1:474) and Japan (1:550).

In USJ, it was something like 1:7,500 the last time I checked!
