Larry King and The Secret

Thanks to "Money and You", I am able to share and disseminate the dates of "Larry King Live", in which he interviews the teachers of "The Secret". This will be done over a two-part series called "Beyond Positive Thinking".

Part 1 airs on Thursday 2nd Nov 2006 with Bob Proctor, John Assaraf, JZ Knight, Rev Michael Beckwith and Dr. John DeMartini.

Part 2 airs on Thursday 16th Nov 2006 with James Ray, Jack Canfield, Joe Vitale, George Pratt and Jayne Payne.

Note that "Larry King Live" airs on CNN at 6 p.m. Pacific Time Zone (U.S.) and re-airs at 9 p.m. Pacific Time Zone (U.S.) and 12-midnight. As the above are USA dates and times, it would be a day before in Malaysia so please make sure you get your times correct.

I strongly suggest you watch and record both shows, as every guest will be worth listening to.

I am made to understand that this exciting opportunity is a result of Larry King and his producers watching "The Secret". It also does appear that as a result of this show, Larry and his producers have made a commitment to host a positive show, like this one, every month! Keep your fingers crossed.

Please share this information with everyone you know who needs to hear it! We have the opportunity to reach millions with this message, and when it succeeds, it will literally open the floodgates for us to change the lives of even more people! The planet is transforming, and we can all be part of it!

Nine Emperor Gods

Today is the last day of the Nine Emperor Gods' Festival.

Dropped by the temple at Macallum Street a while ago during lunch time to offer some prayers.

ASKED for the Gods to bless my family and friends. Especially Andy and Susan and their four children who are all facing challenging times. Bless my country and bless the world. And bless me too.

The Secret Revealed

I first heard about "The Secret" in 2005, some months before this movie was revealed to a worldwide audience in March 2006.

Thanks to Simon Chan, I got my own DVD copy last month.

I have watched it thrice since I received it. One of the best investments I have made, I must add.

If you are wondering what in the heavens is "The Secret" about, let me tell you what I have learned. It is about one power. One law. A law that you probably already know about but strangely, do not know you know. It is the Law of Attraction!

Truly, this 90 minutes movie makes fascinating viewing if you are looking for that edge or distinction. It is just awesome. It blew my mind away.

I can only say that you have got to watch "The Secret" to understand and share my excitement. You can do it online if you have broadband and if budget isn't a constraint, I strongly suggest you go get your own copy. It is a must-have for any personal library. The trailer is available here, by the way.

Now that "The Secret" has been revealed and introduced to you, I urge you to make the best decision for yourself. "The Secret" could change your life forever.

The next step now is for you to ASK and the universe will ANSWER. And when it does, be ready to RECEIVE!!

Just so that you know, many of the teachers from this phenomenally successful movie will appear in Larry King Live next week. I will post the details of this two-part series called "Beyond Positive Thinking" in my next entry.

Meanwhile, I leave you with this gem from Earl Nightingale, "You become what you think about all day long and if you do not think, you become nothing."

Chia Ka Liao

The warlord from Port Klang, commonly known as Chia Ka Liao to the Hokkiens, will very soon Si Liao.

Following a one-hour audience with the Sultan of Selangor at Istana Kayangan in Shah Alam this morning, he was advised to relinquish his post as Klang municipal councillor or risks being stripped of his Datukship. Wouldn't that be too lenient a punishment, Tuanku?

Then in comes the burung kakak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo - Chia Ka Liao must voluntarily resign before Nov 8, failing which, the state government will invoke the provision in the Local Authority Act to remove him.

Hello, how is he to resign the post which he has not been sworn in yet?

Nevertheless, Daulat Tuanku.

A mockery of sorts

A mockery of sorts. A security company that doesn't have an alarm system, closed-circuit television camera system or guards at its own premise lost two guns and ammunition in a break-in during the festive holidays.

Would you trust this insecured company to take care of your security?

And more mockeries. The homes of a former deputy Inspector-General of Police, a prosecutor and a senator were burgled during the same period.

Me shaking my head!!??!

May This Encourage You, Always

May this lovely piece encourage you, always.

Don't spend major time with minor people.
If there are people in your life who continually
disappoint you, break promises, stomp on your dreams,
are too judgmental, have different values
and don't have your back during difficult times ...
that is not friendship.

To have a friend, be a friend.
Sometimes in life as you grow,
your friends will either grow or go.
Surround yourself with people who
reflect values, goals interests and lifestyles.

When I think of any of my successes,
I am thankful to God from whom all blessings flow,
and to my family and friends who enrich my life.

Over the years my phone book has changed
because I changed, for the better.
At first, you think you're going to be alone, but after awhile,
new people show up in your life
that make it so much sweeter and easier to endure.

Remember what your elders used to say,
"Birds of a feather flock together.
If you're an eagle, don't hang around chickens:
Chickens can't fly!"

Monkey see, monkey do

Naah ....H!

The Port Klang warlord says Naah ...H to Tuanku? What are they going to do to him over his open defiance?

Chop off his middle finger, tear down his palace, strip him of his Datukship, or none of the above?

The Dash

When your eulogy is being read, would you be proud of the things they say about how you spend your dash? Or will your life be just two numbers and a dash?

A poem that goes straight to the heart, Linda Ellis' The Dash has touched millions of lives. This world-famous poem is only 3 minutes long. Please read it because those 3 minutes can truly change the way you think about life.

I hope it will touch you as much as it touched me.

Turn up the volume on your PC and watch The Dash Movie too.

Conversations with God

Good news for fans of Neale Walsh. His spiritual classic premiers on the silver screen in the U.S. this coming Friday, October 27, 2006.

Conversations with God tells the true story of Neale Walsch (played by Henry Czerny) who asked God some very hard questions at the lowest point in his life. The answers he got from God/within became the foundation of an internationally acclaimed book series, that has sold over 7 million copies and been translated into 34 languages.

Watch the trailer here.

For those who haven't read any of his books, Neale's underlying message is to Forget Religion and Embrace Spirituality.

I will not be giving this movie a miss when it comes to us and I hope you won't too because we need more films of love and compassion in our cinemas. Not the Hollywood formula of fear and violence.

What's your excuse?

Ben Underwood plays killer foosball and is an absolute master of video games. But so are a lot of 14-year-olds.

Except Ben is blind.

Watch this video and maybe you'll see that the limitations you think you have, really aren't limitations after all.

Orifice

This is insane.

Consumers are using haemorrhoid cream on their faces to get rid of puffy eyes, according to Reuters. The manufacturer warns that this pharmaceutical is not a cosmetic. Just keep it away from that orifice, will you?

On the matter of orifice, what do over one million drivers mostly think about behind the wheels?

It's SEX, what else?

Orifice again ha?

A Mousy Story

A mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package. What food might this contain?" The mouse wondered - he was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap.

Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning to the animals, "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!" The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, "Mr. Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered by it."

The mouse turned to the pig and the pig sympathized, but said, "I am so very sorry, Mr. Mouse, but there is nothing I can do about it but pray. Be assured you are in my prayers."

The mouse next turned to the cow and the cow said, "Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you, but it's no skin off my nose." So, the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's mousetrap alone.

That very night a sound was heard throughout the house -- like the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey. The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught.

In the darkness, she did not see it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught. The snake bit the farmer's wife. The farmer rushed her to the hospital, and she returned home with a fever.

Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient.

But his wife's sickness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her around the clock. To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig. The farmer's wife did not get well, she died.
So many people came for her funeral; the farmer had the cow slaughtered to provide enough meat for all of them.

The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in the wall with great sadness.

So, the next time you hear someone is facing a problem and think it doesn't concern you, remember -- when one of us is threatened, we are all at risk.

We are all involved in this journey called life. We must keep an eye out for one another and make an extra effort to encourage one another.

When in Penang ...

When in Penang, do as the Penangites do.

Which is to make sure you send your new car to the Waterfall Shree Muniswarar Temple to receive some blessings. Your numbers might just strike 1st prize in the next draw!

No car? Don't worry about that because the priest also works on motorbikes.

Good luck.
